The Brief
Athena Fitness was built to empower women through science-backed fitness programs tailored for real life. The goal of this project was to develop a bold, feminine, and trustworthy brand identity that celebrates strength and resilience while feeling approachable and empowering. This included a complete visual identity, social content templates, and website design direction that could scale alongside the growing business.

The Client
Founded by Ariana Myers—a registered nurse turned personal trainer—Athena Fitness focuses on helping women reclaim their strength, especially those navigating postpartum recovery, autoimmune conditions, and hormone-related challenges. Ariana brings a rare blend of medical knowledge and compassionate coaching to her clients, and the brand needed to reflect that same credibility and warmth.

PROJECT ROADMAP

Phase 1

Creative Brief

We kicked off the project by outlining Ariana’s vision, values, and long-term goals. This phase included target audience analysis, keyword mapping, and visual direction through moodboards and color/typography exploration. The goal was to build a brand that felt equal parts powerful, nurturing, and trustworthy.

Phase 2

Asset Gathering

We gathered everything needed to bring the brand to life—photos, testimonials, content ideas, and competitor references. Through discovery calls and messaging workshops, we built a foundation for brand voice, clarified service offerings, and aligned the tone with Ariana’s background as a nurse and trainer.

Phase 3

Production Phase

Designed the Athena Fitness brand identity—logo, brand mark, font system, and color palette. Built brand collateral like Instagram templates, highlight covers, and client welcome graphics. A Figma-based homepage concept was also developed to guide future web design efforts.

Phase 4

2024

Final Delivery

Delivered a complete brand kit and walkthrough guide, then continued into content creation support. Designed and scheduled multiple weeks of social media graphics, Reels covers, and post templates. Ensured visual consistency across platforms and helped establish a cohesive, engaging online presence that aligned with the brand’s voice.
